The R(e)volution of Powers – EBF Conference 2010

Power – either you got it or not!? Has it been given to humanity? Has it been taken by us? Who defines the grade between being in power and being powerless? On the 30^th of September and the 1^st of October, the EBF Conference took place. Not only Feb students participated, alumni and basically everybody who was interested, was able to attend. The world in which we live in is changing constantly. Technology and innovation emerge with a high pace and it seems that changing and adapting accordingly cannot be avoided anymore. Thus, happening is not only an evolution, but as well a revolution of powers. The theme of the conference – The world in 2025 has been picked accordingly and the whole conference evolved around that topic. On Thursday 30^th of September, the participants have been invited to the “Blauwe Zaal” which is located in the Duisenberg Building at Zernike. After a welcoming speech by Iris Follender Grossfeld, the chairman of the EBF conference Board, the day started.
